One root cause of the cultural rift within the United States is the common perception - and sometimes reality - that citizens do not receive "fair" value for their tax expenditures.At 202 Capital, we believe it is possible to provide effective and efficient public goods and services. However, incentives within government are not naturally aligned with value creation. In order to improve public outcomes, governments (federal, state, and local) should selectively partner with private companies which have that explicit goal at the forefront of their missions.We believe this because we have accomplished it, having founded, grown, and acquired successful government contracting businesses that deliver tangible improvements to the effectiveness and efficiency of the government programs they support. We also know like-minded entrepreneurs capable of making a difference exist.
